Welcome and thank you for visiting the Henry's Wood
Farms web site.
In 1963, Henry started the wood farm's.
| Since then, Henry's Wood Farm has
been going strong.
We are proud to announce the recent
celebration of our 40th
anniversary.
Henry's Wood Farm takes in chipped green
waste and wood rounds from tree services and
landscapers. These are the products that
would otherwise wind up in our landfills, be
buried, and take years to decompose.

Henry's Wood Farms is now owned and operated by the wife of the late
Henry, his daughters, and granddaughters.
We are a family owned and operated
business with many children and grandchildren who visit
the park and garden areas on site. We have high
standards for the material in which our children play, and
these same standards apply for our communities' children
as well. The same material we sell our customers, we
use in the park and gardens. Needless to say, we are
strict to extremes regarding what is taken in to our
yard. We demand clean loads; no garbage, cans,
plastic, palm, mulberry, thorns, boards, or lumber in any
form. We have a zero tolerance for garbage and we
will charge a $200.00 disposal fee and revoke dumping
privileges for those who violate policies. We feel
strongly that when "no garbage comes in, no garbage
goes out".
Our green waste is left alone to
"rest" for a period of at least one year before
it is screened and separated. This separation is
woodchips from the green waste (leaves, etc.) The
wood chips are re-screened to soften and turn into a small
decorative chip while the leaves and greens waste are left
to rest for another year to "compost". Our
wood rounds are both split into firewood and put into
large grinders for large decorative chip an screened for
play ground material.
